Honestly, I know the Cardinals are playing, but I only remember that because I always thought that the Cardinals were a baseball team. Seeing Preacher's post, I assume the Steelers are the other team.

It's a rather dull day here. At least my ass isn't falling out, which is what I expected after having a disgusting little family dinner at that damned Golden Corral last night. We waited forever to get in, forever to be seated, and that was so we could elbow our way through all the food-greedy fucks who were rushing the buffet bars. The food tasted liked it looked: shitty. Apparently I wasn't doing a very good job of masking my discontent since my wife suggested that I leave. But I stayed and sat there staring at my son and wife while the hordes of unwashed locals continually stampeded by for thirds and fourths. Don't get me wrong -- I have far from a sensitive a palette and I can eat my share when the food is good. But the food was as disgusting as the clientele who we were corralled with. And it's not as if we were all seated together. Instead, we were sitting at three separate tables, and I was stuck at the table with my wife's crazy fucking aunt.
On the education front, I received a very promising reply to the email I sent to the coordinator for the B.A. program I applied to and she'd like to meet me. Gotta keep the wheels rolling.
