Danm - if you're gonna piss copyright/trademark owners off - don't pick the guys with deep pockets. That's like picking a fight with the bigest guy at the bar - just not smart.
FYI - Hollywood is one of the the most aggressive combatants of copyright/trademark abuse and theft and they have the budgets to ruin you. They also take the time to register their copyrights and trademarks in as many countries as possible, this means hiding in Europe won't protect you for a minute.
Bottom line is there is NO WAY you can use a cartoon character that someone else developed without violating their trademark/copyright. And to make it worse, you do it in such an egregious manner as to attract negative press. Add to it that you use their images for gain, and it's a shut and closed case.
But then, I get the feeling you feel above the law............
