Fletch is an incredible designer! But I think you're crazy handing out a percentage of sales.
It's contract work. You pay for something to be created and it is. End of story. Because Fletch is so good, he can ask for more money and/or never have to worry about being out of work.
Would you give a percentage of sales to the person who designed your Ford Dealership showroom floor? Or the Ford catelogues showing the vehicles? Or the guy who built the awesome sign that attracts people off the street into the showroom? Not the same I know as a "tour" is criticle for sales, but you get my point I think.
