I've found that the more people follow you... the more people follow you. And you do have to keep tweeting stuff that's not too painfully boring i.e "Brushed teeth, now I'm on the bus." I try to add links to my blog, talk about what work I'm doing and make witty comments about the news or life. At least, I hope they're witty.

I think replying to too many people can make your feed less appealing too.
