Fuck backing up a trailer is hard to do.
We finally got the hitch put on the Scion TC last night and first thing we noticed is that the turn signals were backwards so we drove with the trailer back over to the Uhaul only to, embarrassingly, find out that we had put the wiring in the trailer together backwards.
Then we needed to backup with the trailer attached... I knew to turn the wheel the opposite way that you want the trailer to go but after five minutes or so of going forward and backwards with all the Uhaul guys trying to help us we gave up and Christy got out of the car and dragged the trailer around.
When we got home I tried once again to backup the trailer into our driveway but we finally gave up and just disconnected the trailer and walked it around.
Lots of website updates to do for various clients to do today. Going to go to the gym for a few hours later today after doing some of the updates and then going to be doing more trailer backup practice this evening since we are taking the kayaks out first thing tomorrow morning.
