Hello everyone...
I'm glad to have finally found this board (thanks a lot "The
Other Steve" from TNB)...
I posted this already to Tom's Newbie Booster so I'm sorry if
it looks like sort of a cross-posting but the original problem
remains...
I've tried to submit my site at the following URL:
http://www.link-o-rama.com/greenguy/email.shtml
I don't use an auto-submitter so I think it should be the
actual address.
Each time I enter the data and submit it I get a nasty
"Connection closed by remote server" (using
Opera/6.03 (OpenBSD 3.2 i386; U) [en]).
I don't think it's a browser-specific problem since I've tried
several browsers and platforms (Opera, Netscape, Internet
Explorer). Netscape gives me a nice "The document
contained no data" while Internet Explorer leads me to the
nice error output of
http://www.link-o-rama.com/cgi-bin/l...in1/submit.cgi
saying I didn't enter name, E-Mail, site name, URL,
comments and recip (which of course I entered into the
form).
I've tried out several browsers with different languages so I
think its no problem, that GreenGuy re-directs German
language browsers to a totally different site since I'm getting
the error with english browser versions too.
It's really strange...
BTW.: Is there any chance to submit the site via E-Mail?
And if so which format should I use? Does anyone here
use Link Admin v 1.0 and knows how the script formats the
submission Mail (or isn't it send via mail and instead
written directly to a database?)
Thanks a lot for you help and have a successful day
with tons of bucks everyone

Till
