You spend time to build sites, submit them so you can make a few bucks out of them.... why would you want to guide them out on the first page?
I used to use exit links years back on my AVS sites because I had to, when I started building freesites I used exit link as well because I thought I had to but as soon as I found out that was not the case, I got rid of it. You will get NO benefit from it.
