I cannot believe you are going to get a hurricane there..and I'm flying right into it on thursday..
I used to live in Port Charlotte on the West Coast..for some reason the strip from Sarasota to just beloe Port Charlotte never got hurricane trouble..we had a bit of flooding and some winds but that's about it..
