Mike - it's not that people aren't doing chat (or dating), it's that so many of the paying customers have already been *claimed* directly by the big chat sites/programs, and/or by their biggest affiliates. Once someone has spent money (or even done a free signup) with most chat/dating operators, they're no longer a prospect for anyone else to earn a commission.
That's a big reason for the recent huge PPS promos. The programs want to further reduce the pool of possible new customers for whom they'll ever need to pay anyone a commission. It's worth the relatively small amount of big bonus payouts they need to make in order to shrink the numbers of unclaimed potential customers.
If someone offers you $300 PPS there is always a reason that benefits them more than it can ever benefit you. Unless of course you happen be one of the very small group of mega-affiliates with huge traffic. For anyone else, it's a losing proposition every time.
This is just my opinion of course, so everyone should feel free to disagree and jump on every new PPS promo that comes along. Just don't bother wondering why they don't pay off for you like you think they will.
