I would not use an exit link, and if I did I would not send the traffic to Google. Also, do you really want an exit link to be that prominent? You're going to get a lot of people exiting the site before they get to the next page...do you really want that?
As far as structure/overall design goes, I would have no problem lising it. I would encourage you to look at text style recips, though. Most reviewers have no problem with them, you can get more on a page, and they just look a hell of a lot better.
