Happy upgrade Wordpress day.
Yesterday I finished moving all my blogs into Wordpress multi it seems just in time for the latest Wordpress update.
I'm really loving having just one install of Wordpress to deal with.
Couldn't sleep last night due to this pinched sciatica nerve so late last night (or was it early this morning) I tried like five times in a row to do the auto update of Wordpress but all of them failed with various unable to write files or create directories errors. Even tried chmod 777 everything but automatic upgrade still failed so I ended up doing a manual upgrade. Oddly the version of the plugin Akismet that came with the update was reported as needing updating right after updating Wordpress and the auto update on it failed each time too so also had to manually update Akismet. Everything seems to be working correctly despite doing all this huff asleep and on pain pills.
At least I know longer have to go through this over and over again on multiple installs of Wordpress.
Today would be a gym day but doesn't look like I'll be able to make it back to the gym until next week due to this pinched sciatica nerve (at least that's all I hope it is) so today is going to be laundry, porn and a pain pill kind of day.
