Checked it and the links go to the correct content. Do you mean the
urls of the galleries (tentacle-1.html / tentacle-2.html)? Ok, that
could be easily changed if that is a problem.

I prefer to keep the ads rather minimal there. It's not that my intention
is to push a maximum on traffic to a sponsor. That worked well for me the
last years if it does not work out with free sites there is not much lost.

It's just for the black background (a lesser problem with those pics but
lots of my renders are more on the dark side) and to add a touch of
comfort (the back link). I'm not exactly a disciple of the "the surfer
is the enemy" school

Did so and well, i think those free sites i did about 5 years ago looked
like that. I just want to try something different. That's why i asked.
I even would like to use javascript to bring some motion on the pages
but i think that is even more disliked then pics on html

The major disadvantage i see with my design is the lack of text
but since English is not my first language my options on that topic
are limited anyway.
