Good morning world
I know what you mean about not feeling like working, Cleo. Actually I'm starting to wonder if I wouldn't do at least as well as I'm doing now by cutting back on all the site updating and mailings. I mean, doing more isn't really helping, so maybe doing less wouldn't really hurt either. Or maybe I just don't feel like working today.
That might be partly due to the mention of bonefish. I'd really rather be out in a
skiff* casting a fly to the last bonefish in a school moving onto the flats. Those little gray ghosts are unbelievably fast, and will sometimes strip almost all the line of your fly reel before you can get them to turn.
I'll pass on the shark encounters though. My closest encounter with one was actually out of the water. I'd caught a lemon shark (on fly gear) and my guide pulled it into the boat and turned around to show it to me. Unfortunately I was standing closer than he thought, and when he turned the nose of the shark brushed right across my crotch as the shark opened his mouth wide. That day I found out I could move backwards much faster than I thought I could. No physical damage was done, just the psychological kind.
Oh well, no fishing today so just working away while laughing my ass off at Jim Jeffries new "Alcoholocaust" stand-up special on Showtime that I recorded last night.
Wishing everyone a good week ... with no sharks near your genitals.
