Morning. Back from just an awesome weekend off. The girl of the couple we visited is doing great after having both her breasts removed due to breast cancer. The first day we were there she went to have her skin expanded for the implants she will be getting in. Was just so happy to see her doing so well. Had some awesome food in the city. Saturday morning we got up and went to their new lake house.
I used to be on a water ski team in college. In the past couple years though I haven't water skied at all. It felt so good to actually do it again. Even if the equipment they had wasn't great. It was so rad getting up at the crack of dawn and seeing glassy water.
I'm sore as fuck and didn't have at all the staying power. Tons of muscles just are in shock right now.
Had some go to meetings about some work I have been doing for a mainstream client. He loved it and then his partner we had a meeting a little later in the day and he loved it as well. Wants about a billion other features added in. As well as most likely I have the website redo. All I was thinking is that holy fuck I might be able to pay my taxes.
So that's good.
So this coming weekend I have a wedding I'm DJing. Yes I am a jack of all trades. So I need to prepare a ton of playlists and pull out my speakers and do a bunch of checks.
Anyway. I'm energized though and ready to crush this week.
