The loose words are all clutter. The loose words just below the tabs would do better at the bottom. The loose words at the sides need to either be toasted or illustrated. Make things interesting, not overwhelming, not cluttered. Keep it simple stupid.
Yes grey is technically depressing, but quickly becomes neutral with more dominate colors.
