My meeting with the disability lawyer went really well yesterday. I was declined because they feel that I am still capable of working 40 hours a week, but the lawyer said that they can't expect me to find a job out of the house because I'm technically not supposed to drive due to my leg spasms, and they can't expect me to work as I do now, which is for about an hour or 2, then go lay down until my back pain subsides, then repeat until bedtime. The only shit thing is that I won't even get a hearing with a judge
scheduled for 12-14 months! And who knows how long after that that the hearing will take place
Dinner with my Dad & stop-mom was only partially awkward. Since my 1st surgery back in Nov 2011, they have felt that their doctor is much better than mine, so I get reminded of that & what a fool I am for not going to him instead
And the restaurant they took us to had HORRENDOUS service. When we questioned why our dinner was taking so long, we were basically told that the party of 14 sitting in the back of the room was more important than us. Yeah, that's what you want to hear from your waitress.
