Hot and sticky here this morning with roof tiles and circler saws making lots of noise next door.
Went to the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens for the Hatsume fair. Got roasted in an unusually hot, for this time of year, day and got sand blasted by wind so strong that motorcycles were being blown over.
Then there was the crowds and lines at everything. We wanted to get some sushi while there but the line into the restaurant was hours long. Took 20 minutes in line just to take a piss in a filthy restrooms.
Note to self... only go there to enjoy the gardens when there isn't an event going on.
After walking around for a bit and really being miserable but not wanting to say anything because Christy has been excited about this for weeks, she looked at me and was as over it as I was.
We did find a really good restaurant across the street called
The Green Gourmet "Prepared Foods" so at least our day wasn't a complete waste of a day.
