It's a brute force start of the first Monday of June 2013
The fucking brute force attacks on my Wordpress installs have gotten even worse.
After weeks of brute force attacks on my WP Multi install it was finally broken in to yesterday.
The attacks had gotten so bad that it was actually causing Apache to reset on my server.
I installed the plugin Login Security Solution last week which really helped. One of the things it does is to disable the login for a time after X amount of attacks which solved the problem of Apache getting overloaded with requests.
But the fuckers still managed to get again today. Login Security Solution immediately logged them out both times and I had to reset my password before I could login.
Can't imagine how they were able to guess my user name since I changed it yesterday to something not in the dictionary along with my password that looks something like hgkeafgabrgfiuLUGKGgkj568587687%^%^%&*^&*!kkjkjJJJK:K:54551.
This morning I made it so that only someone from my IP can login which seems to have put an end to the attacks. My IP does change but very rarely so hopefully this will put an end to this bullshit until Wordoress comes out with an update to deal with this crap.
Hopefully I can spend the rest of today working on my AVS site and other stuff instead of dealing with this Wordpress bot.
