Good morning world
Just another day of trying to get the usual things done while also learning a few new things so I can be a little less dependent on the things I usually do. And all while doing my best to not be bothered at all by the unbelievable amount of time the media is dedicating to the Zimmerman trial, which I see as just one more shiny object being used to distract us.
Over 30 people are killed by handguns every day just in the USA, while worldwide there are around 525,000 homicides each year and another 180,000 are killed in wars or similar conflicts. But why look at the big picture when we can narrow our focus down to what one man did to one other young man on one particular day.
If it's a bright shiny object that they want us to look at, it's usually because there's something else they'd rather we don't see. It's not magic, it's misdirection.
Wishing everyone a day filled with seeing the things they'd rather we didn't.
