Got cut off as I was adjusting my headset so I only had my left hand on the handlebars so only put on the front brake and basically tumbled over the front wheel tangled up in my bike.
Just really glad that I had a helmet on as I felt my head hit the payment.
Toenail is gone with a big hunk of skin missing from my toe.
Two twisted fingers on my right hand. Left knee is all scraped up. Both elbows are scraped. Both thighs have bruises from the bike frame.
I got back on and rode the rest of the ride and said fuck it to the pain. Was a bit concerned about all the blood that I was losing though.
Here are some pics of the bike ride. The ride is on the last Friday of each month. This month we had about 300 riders.
Toe is still bleeding . Going to put clotting agent on it after I take a shower. Guess I'll take off what is left of my toenail polish. I had just done my toes so that they would look pretty for the bike ride.
Will be wearing sneakers on next month's ride.
Off to take some meds.
