I've have seen some of the ones you are talking about and you may be right. I do not have the years of watching the Dr as you have so you have a far better grasp of the Dr's through the years. I will say I liked him better in the second episode which tells me in time I will adjust like I did with the last Dr. Now, as for the impossible girl, Clara is a timeless delight, looking good in current fashion as well as period outfits.
