Arrow Any Led Zeppelin Fans Around? Physical Graffiti 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

I'm sure everyone has been asked: "If you could only have 1 album to listen to..."

My answer has always been Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin - it's just such a great album by a band that was not only in their prime, but coming back from some horrific personal tragedies.

So when I saw the remastered re-issue of it was coming out, I ordered a copy on CD, as I've done with the 1st 4. It arrived in the mail yesterday.

It's 3 discs: the 1st 2 are the remastered tracks from the double album, and the 3rd is all unreleased alternate/early versions from 7 of the songs. 6 of the tracks are really good, with just subtle little differences (like Bonham REALLY liked the cowbell in this version of Houses Of The Holy) But there's 1 track on there that has me feeling like I did in High School when I was discovering Zeppelin...

5. Everybody Makes It Through (In The Light) [Early Version/In Transit]

Now, In The Light is a GREAT song, but this version of it is just FUCKING FANTASTIC! It's like listening to new Zeppelin! It's like when I was 17 on a school trip to Toronto & found the 45 for Celebration Day in a record store. The B side was Traveling Riverside Blues, which none of us had ever heard - new Zeppelin?!?!

So if you're a fan of Zeppelin & Physical Graffiti, go pick up the Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti Deluxe Edition CD - it's well worth the $20
*plus, like with the original album, you can mix & match the inserts
