2008 stock market wasn't good either but it wasn't so bad either. But 2009 is when I saw the massive income drop in my paysites' incomes. My wire (pure profit from my paysites) in Sept 2009 was 33% Lower than 4 months earlier in May 2009.
That's 1/3 income drop in 4 months when the mortgage crisis hit.
