Drove my AIR BnB guest to the bus stop and then went to have mimosa and breakfast at the opening of
Salt This Way. Not my thing, ocean gives me all the salt I want for free, but wanted to show support for the woman that opened it.
Then I went to Foxy's to see what was needed to clean up the big pile of dying hard drives with years of content on them.
Foxy is getting back into the game. Besides getting her studios and cameras all working again she just bought the Macbook 15 inch with 16 gig of ram and .5TB solid state drive. Plus the Apple display with the builtin Thunderbolt display. OMG is this thing fast and she is running three monitors. I have Mac envy.
She wants to gather up over 10 years of exclusive content. It's all in a big pile of hard drives, some 15 years old. Going to put it all in one big RAID.
Had to take a few of the drives out of their enclosures to mount and just about all the RAIDs had one dead drive, but she got lucky and nothing seems to be lost. Had her order this
12 TB RAID USB drive to hold everything from the pile of dying drives.
Enough work for the day. Going to go over to the local pub and relax.
