I think those two choices are on almost everyone's list. Those types of changes are tough to do because you don't see results right away. Your body screams at you for making it work hard while your brain cries for its fix of sugars. Your body also becomes dependent on alcohol, and the feelings you get when you drink. Neither choice makes you feel good right away so they are easy to walk away from. And the holidays, with the parade of food and decadent treats doesn't help, plus there is so little time to do anything between the shopping and celebrating. Whew!
Still, I hope your change in view works for you. I am trying to do much the same thing here, but having a tough go with it. Maybe we can keep each other inspired...
