Good Mah Na Mah Na
50 years ago yesterday, the Muppets appear on The Ed Sullivan Show and perform “Mah Na Mah Na”, which had been sung on Sesame Street only 3 days prior:
The Bitch put me to work yesterday. One task was to replace the hanging light in the front hall. The directions said 30-60 min. 3 hours later, after going up & down the ladder and having lactic acid build up in my arms/shoulders from reaching up the the ceiling to perform this seemingly simple task, we got the light installed
Didn't see that 2 of the 3 "arms" on it were noticeably bent until we flipped the switch
but fuck it. If anyone notices, which they will, I'll just claim it's the angle of view

There is a sheet of ice over everything, but the Weather Readers read that we're only getting an inch of the white stuff (2.5cm or so) Of course, Task #1 today is to help my niece load a 2005 55" Sony rear projection HDTV into some guy's pickup truck that the ASSIL no longer has a need for
I have no idea if The Bitch plans on punishing me more today. After the light debacle, I asked her: "What in our 25 years together made you think that would go smoothly?!"
