I don't hate Montreal but I do have strong memories as a kid. In my neighborhood you either liked Montreal or Toronto. (Okay, there was one kid who liked Buffalo but the Habs and Leafs fans got together and ran him out of town.
) Anyhow, the Leafs were crapola after 1967 and Montreal, of course, had a fantastic run through the 1970s. It was frustrating every year hoping that that this was the Leafs' year while knowing that Montreal was likely to win it all. But I'm over it. HAHAHA
Nonetheless, Habs for the Win!
P.S. No wonder I lost interest in hockey. I just took a look. From 1968 until 1980 -- 12 years -- Montreal won 8 times!
