yes, thats what I was thinking at first. but some have a section titled 'Unsolicited Email Policy' then they explain how to meet the rules to send it.
(I have avoiding mentioning any sponsors in case I am wrong. i don't want to start "sponsor X now allows spam" rumors, but feel free to contact me on ICQ if you want to read the "rules" I am getting. but chances are you use these large sponsors too and already have them)
