Hmmm. Well, if I was a betting man I'd put a hundred on you being banned, with that story. My experiences looking over the shoulder of people trying to get unbanned from google tell me that google tech's response was just shining you on, because they have an unstated policy that adult sites should be ignored for such requests. (impo)
I think you may well be screwed. But, a phone call is a reasonable next step. Be prepared to work hard on the phones. I have heard that they will capitulate to people who bitch hard enough. That's a strategy with obvious risks, tho.
