My best advice is to learn from your old sites and build new ones. Don't go trying to make an old site better, just move on and make new ones.
Not every site that you make will get listed at all the places that you submit to. Don't worry as long as your sites are getting listed most times. If you see that someplace is not listing any of your sites or very few of your sites just stop submitting to them.
The site that you posted has banners that look like thumbs so I doubt that anybody listed it.
