Again I'm not Cleo,
But I have been meaning to post about Firefox too since I tried it after so many glowing recommendations...
My Short Verdict on Firefox: A Piece Of Rubbish!
* It is VERY sensitive to poorly coded html and many sites have problems like Chopsmith has with the resource section here. (compare what the mesage post form here looks like in IE and then Firefox for another example of how great it is)
* Almost all of my own admin and some sponsor admin areas that use any form of scripting not only dont work properly but in one case worked so incorrectly I deleted a number of database entries without even realising it.
* It renders HTML a lot differently to IE... even less like IE than Netscape6 did imho. And you cant have confidence in what you are seeing as it is easy to read a page like ChopSmith did and not even be aware you are missing part of the information.
* The import IE settings not only didnt work on my system it crashed XP every time I tried it... Nothing else I can recall has ever done that.... But this piece of crappy software can at will!
In my mind this software is SO BAD that I cant believe I actually downloaded the same thing all the other people I have seen posting here love so much.
On the upside.... the tabbed browsing and bookmark system is a wonderful idea.... but I bet MS have it too before this lot even get this product feeling like it should be out of beta
