Some...hell, most of you were probably not around back in the day when it was common practice to link to directories (before there were TGP's & Link Lists, we all just had sites/pages that linked to other sites/pages) I made a shitload of money by making fake directory pages full of blind links (anyone remember the "Index Of"?)

Of course, this was well before I was involved with other webmasters (I spoke to about 4 people total online) and I would never, ever do it again

That is exactly how The Hun started. People would bitch about him linking to directories and he would say, "if you don't want me linking to your directory, put up an index page". Ahh, the good old days
