A tiny one.
It's funny, hubby has never had dogs before, only cats. But whenever he talked about getting a dog, it was always something like a Rodesian Ridgeback, or a Mastiff, or a Boxer or something like that.
But just over a week ago, he was at an auction and this old 79 year old guy had brought a puppy with him. Hubby fell in love with the puppy. Plus the puppy was literally swarming with fleas, and it was kind of obvious that the old guy couldn't take proper care of him, so hubby offered to buy him and the guy accepted.
Brutus (the name is hubby's idea) is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix, who looks more Chihuahua than anything, and weighs just barely over 2 pounds.
We also have a big cat and we are really glad they get along! Our cat tries to play with him (nicely) and groom him, so we think we'll be ok there.
