George, it isn't a question of "this" or "that". Search engines (especially google) are NOT impressed by just submitting. They are impressed other things on your site and other things about people who link to you.

In all fairness, there is but 10-20 good SE spots per term. There are thousands of link sites, and enough of them have traffic to make me happy.

So, who knows?
