As a side note, I should point out that javascript is basically end user code. The end user's computer has to process it. There is no way to assure that (a) they have java active, and (b) that there version of java they have is really working, and (c) that they don't have some sort of blilcking program that filters out all the useful tags.

Therefore, as a banner delivery system, javascript is a VERY bad way to go. It is very likely that a large percentage of your banners will be blocked.
