trust me, Sean, you aren't alone. There are about 10-12 people on here who exchange icq messages regarding this same subject (posting and never getting a response etc). there are several reasons and most of the time they are legit, (example: i don't have a ll to exchange with so technically the original post doesn't apply to me), some people only will respond if there is a certain PR level on your site and no matter how amusing or knowledgable or length of time in the biz, unless you are at a PR4 or better, no response. Also this is not a Whore Board or at least attempts not to be. So people here, or so we've discussed, tend to respond to those they have networked with or have at least met at some show or event if the question is not really pertaining to their business.
A very good way to increase your board responses and to actully interact with others from this board is to attend the On-The-Bench sessions on Saturday with MML. They are informative and very interactive and you get to chat with other LL and TGP owners and foster relationships and exchanges from there.
