Most big webmasters here don't like to or have to use cj because they get enough hits without it but im sure when they first started they used it or other tricks to get attention.
But don't worry, there are hundreds of large sites still using cj.
Just find a site that can to an even exchange.
If your site is nice and easy to navigate surfers will book mark your site and then you will have it made.
