one thing you can do is inside your members areas, seed all the pages with links to pages that return large amounts of useless information. Those should always be first on the page, so that the site sucking bots will find them first and suck them all down. You can have links to html, jpg, and other things. They will go nuts.

I had someone make a small script a couple of years back that sent endless amounts of garbage information (like the source files for unix, or whatever was handy) in reply to these requests. If they get enough garbage in the files, they won't bother to try to edit the things to share.

Put those links on every page, every piece of html inside your members areas, make the bots run in circles. That tends to keep everyone except the most serious people away.
