I hate chasing people to be reliable daily too... so if they can manage their time and actually turn up everyday like a real job.. I'd double whatever rate they wanted. 
Chances of whoever you are employing being a good reviewer are about 100:1 in my experience though, hardly anyone does it like the owner would
