There are still a lot of little directories out there that use DMOZ's results, so if anything it just counts as more backlinks to your sites from more sites.
As far as primary directories - Google(and therefore AOL and Netscape) in their "directory" sections (not the normal web search) still use the DMOZ directory, however Google tends to not use all of the results...they filter some out.
