I dunno, I dont like the idea of buying content and promoting some site with it. To me the whole point of free sites and galleries is to give the surfer a taste of what they can expect in the members section, so to sell them on something they cant find in the members section seems silly to me. I know with those old cookie cutter non-exclusive sites you might as well buy your own content because most of the content on those sites have been around for 5years+ and they're on a million different sites. But when it comes to promoting modern reality sites I think its far better to use sponsor content. Either be really fast and pump them out asap, or find smaller programs and use thier content.
