Well, I'm not sure of the other programs, but I've done all PR sites to date.
Lesbotrick hasn't been a top seller or converter for a very long time...if ever.
However, you *should* have done really well with Lesbian Sistas.
This depends when you got in on it.
Overall, I am 1:145 with that site, 9 sales with 1306 uniques. 2 free sites for it.
I think it has gotten very popular, and I got in early.
Ebony Dymes I'm 1:574 with 3 sales- 1 free site for it.
I'm not sure which 140 lists you are submitting to and they all count...but it would help to get listed at tommys, a good ranking on penisbot, jays, and GG's site.
I had normally sub'd to 18 LL's which I'm expanding....but even being lazy with the 18 I have done ok.
I am like 99.9% GG wouldn't ban for over 800, just decline.
I forgot what is normally quoted as being enough uniques to make a good decision wheter something is working for you...but say at least 1000 to get a general idea.
I have 16 CDROMs of content I have to go through. Just came in the mail today.
I knew I reached the end of my free content days when I got some declines due to it.
The main benefit of your own content is that you are free to promote any program.
With sponsor content you are fairly well married to that sponsor - if they are good that can be OK for a while, but I got tired of free content dictating what sites I could promote.
BUT, it did accomplish enough sales and I got a better understanding of what works for me at the sponsor with LL traffic- for nothing but hosting and some work.
So, your two choices are:
1) Plug away and try to find sponsors where the content isn't heavily used (surf the link lists to see who is being promoted and with what content) - make sure it's quality content (no more vid caps for some LL's) then pounce on it.
2) Pony up some cash and go searching for content. I posted a thread called "GG&J Regulars what content do you use" or something like that.
There was NO spam in that thread. Just honest recommendations.
