Hi,
I wondered if I could get some advice on getting PayAsYouClick micropayment galleries listed on TGPs.
Ignore the design / content if you can, here's an example of a micropayment gallery / site that has been built to go along with a tutorial I wrote. This shows how any gallery builder can set up a micropayment gallery in a few hours and charge for each click.

Here's the tutorial :
http://www.muckytarts.com/payc_click_tutorial.htm
You'll see that this type of site has mostly free pictures, then a couple of pictures clearly marked at 2 cents each. These and the pictures on the following pages require the user to get an account to view them - which they fund by credit card, check, SMS, 900 etc. Once they have an account, making payments from 1 cent to $2 takes just one click on the thumbnail. The surfer has the option to confirm each payment over a chosen amount, so there's no suggestion of tricking him.
This type of pay-per-click site is doing incredibly well on niche traffic and mainstream video sites - for example
www.valleycats.net or
www.gabrio.com/main/archive_vids.htm Its not unusual to see someone spend $20/$30 in an evening on $2 videos on these sites, or clock up say $5 in an hour just looking at pictures.
But we want to get mainstream traffic hitting this type of site/gallery off the TGPs and link lists.
What's in it for the TGP? The TGP will automatically receive up to 50% of all the money its traffic spends at any PayAsYouClick sites.
The gallery builder chooses how much to pay in traffic-commission (0-50%), and the TGP chooses whether to list the gallery based on quality and the traffic-commission for that gallery.
So if the TGP links to a load of galleries of this type, surfers are encouraged to get an account, and the TGP earns high income. Meanwhile as long as the galleries have some free pics, and clearly marked charged ones, its not going to piss off surfers.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on how we can introduce this type of gallery onto the mainstream traffic sites. Clearly if we can achieve this, its a step towards getting more and more surfers paying for content.
Thanks in advance,
Danny
