I opted in to the new look Gmail yesterday. If you use their calendar, which changed layouts a couple months back, it basically looks like that now: kinda puffier. I can no longer see all my folders on the right without scrolling (even though I'm using the Compact View) and these useless canned replies or Smart Compose (predictive writing suggestions appear as you compose an email) are fucking pointless. Plus some of the buttons you're used to are confusing, like the Mark As Unread button looks a lot like the old Archive button.
