The biggest change is that as of Google Chrome ver. 68 will label unencrypted websites as NOT SECURE. So if you don't have a ssl certificate and can't use https your site is labeled unsecure.
edit: cheapest ssl certificate goes for around 25$ annualy. edit2 ( if only you have 1 or two sites it's not that bad ) Problem #1 could be to change existing internal links if hardcoded plus you need one more .htacces rule to rewrite http to https. ( but that just one time problem )
Problem #2 Also for some time Google was saying that non https will have lower ranking.
Problem #3 And now Google results instead showing that ex. this site is secure will label only unsecured url's. ex. this site is unsecure.
