This week I will mostly be walking on air with a satisfied fucking smile on my stupid face. I've been on a film making course for about a year, and last weekend they let us loose in a studio with a script, lighting, sound, camera, and real actors. Groups of six, each getting an hour on each main job (sound, camera, lighting, first A.D., art, and director). For half a fucking century I have been waiting to stand in a studio and shout "Camera....sound....ACTION".
Believe me, it was fucking worth the wait.
It is an overused expression, and usually untrue, but in this case that genuinely was "better than sex".
