It was a very windy night here in southeastern California. It's a welcomed change from the hot, dry, stagnant day. Plus, something has to get this camper rocking. My love life certainly won't.
I drove into Yuma (missed the 3:10
) yesterday to pick up a package at UPS. While I was there, I had my radiator flushed at Jiffy Lube because the old family truckster has been overheating since I began this journey. It has been fine at highway speeds, but the temp rises quickly when you slow down. The flush actually worked! What a fucking relief. I had already changed the thermostat, waterpump, radiator cap and upper hose. The the only thing left was the radiator, which I didn't want to drain and change in the middle of the goddamn desert.
While I was in Yuma, I picked up a 4 TB external HD so I can pull all of my content, etcetera off the big computer and access it here on the little lappy I have powering my dynasty. So much fun.
