I flew to Cabarete Dominican Republic Saturday and am here now. Thinking of spending some winters here, maybe even buy something, who knows, but with Covid and things not fully open I figured it was a great time to check it out. The wife is not with me as she is going to visit the daughter in Los Angeles late next week. I'll be here for 1 month, rented a condo near the beach. Why would I be here doing "recon" on spending winters here? 2 reasons, weather and money. It's 32C/89F for the next week
and for football yesterday I went to a bar yesterday to watch NFL games, I had a club house sandwich with fries and 6 beers (3 large and 3 regular) and it was 1275 pesos, $28 Canadian/$22 US
I will be working as usual from the condo, internet is good here. So that's the plan today, work work work
