I've never used the LL recips right off their sites. And, except when I mess up the title tag, I've never had any problems because of it either.
If you're working with css it's also really easy to build plop & drop style custom text recips. Just take the cells in a previous table, switch around or swap out a few cells, and then you've got a whole new table with styles set by your css settings!
