Last year an Associated Press-GfK poll showed that 77% of adults believe angels are real (which is actually good news, since a poll a few years before showed 81% believed angels to be real). But to make it worse, a Baylor University survey showed 50% of all Americans believe they're actually protected by guardian angels, 20% say they’ve heard god speak to them, 25% say they've witnessed miraculous healings, 16% say they’ve received one and 8% say they pray in tongues.
